스타필드 창원에 글로벌 투자운용사 ‘맥쿼리자산운용’이 공동 사업자로 투자에 참여해, 사업에 박차를 가한다.
스타필드 창원은 맥쿼리자산운용이 운용하는 블라인드 펀드를 통해 출자된 약 645억을 유상증자하고, 기존 스타필드 창원의 주식 100%를 보유한 신세계프라퍼티가 약 645억원 유상감자를 진행해 지분율 5:5의 비율로 사업을 운용한다고 30일 공시했다.
스타필드 창원은 이번 투자를 통해 안정적인 자금 확보로 사업의 급물살을 타는 것은 물론 다양한 경험과 금융 노하우를 가진 대주주를 확보해 사업 전반에 있어 큰 도움을 얻을 것으로 기대된다.
호주에서 시작한 맥쿼리자산운용은 현재 23개 이상의 국가에서 자산 운용 및 금융 서비스를 제공하고 있으며 특히 2000년에 한국에 진출해 모빌리티, 디지털, 에너지, 헬스케어 등 다양한 인프라 사업에 투자를 진행 중이다.
스타필드 창원은 지하 4층에서 9층까지 연면적 21.7만m2 규모로 쇼핑몰 · 문화 · 엔터테인먼트 · 운동시설을 한 곳에서 즐길 수 있는 원데이 트립을 제공하는 한편 새로운 라이프스타일, 경험 극대화 콘텐츠를 적극 반영해 지역을 대표하는 시설로 조성할 계획이다.
특히 코엑스몰점, 수원점에만 있는 스타필드만의 콘텐츠 ‘별마당 도서관’을 지역 최초로 스타필드 창원에 조성해, 기존의 독서, 관람, 휴식을 넘어 식음, 산책, 문화예술 콘텐츠가 가미된 새로운 경험이 펼쳐지는 열린 공간으로 개발할 예정이다.

스타필드 창원은 지난 8월 29일 설계변경에 따른 교통영향평가를 조건부 의결로 통과해 연내 건축 설계변경 인허가를 완료한 후 공사에 속도를 낼 예정이다.

The Company complies with the relevant laws including PERSONAL INFORMATION PROTECTION ACT and the ACT ON THE PROMOTION OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK UTILIZATION AND INFORMATION PROTECTION, ETC. and has established and released the Policy on the Handling of Personal Information on its website accessible by its customers. Since the Policy on the Handling of Personal Information may be amended due to changes in governmental law and policy or in the corporate policy, it is recommended for its customers to frequently visit the Notice on the website.
