지역사회 일원으로서 지역경제 활성화뿐 아니라 지역 상생 협력, 문화·예술 지원, 소외계층 후원 등 폭넓은 esg 가치 경영을 실천해 온 신세계프라퍼티가 ‘2023년 하반기 별꿈서포터즈’를 발족하고 지역 아동을 위한 사회공헌 프로젝트 ‘스타필드 플레이’를 이어간다.
신세계프라퍼티는 그동안 일방적인 금전적 지원과 단순 봉사활동 대신 복지사각지대 아이들의 서포터즈로서 스타필드에 아이들을 초대하거나 아이들의 생활 시설에 직접 방문하는 등 함께 소통하고 교감하며 마음을 나누는 진정성 있는 활동을 펼쳐왔다.
특히, 2018년부터 지역 아동청소년들을 스타필드에 초청해 다양한 엔터테인먼트 시설을 즐길 수 있도록 하는 원데이 문화 체험 프로그램 ‘스타필드 플레이’를 진행해 아이들에게 꿈 같은 하루를 선사했다. 스타필드 플레이는 6년째 이어오고 있는 신세계프라퍼티의 대표 지역 아동청소년 사회공헌 활동으로, 지금까지 참여한 아이들은 이번 기수를 포함해 총 4,800여명에 이른다.
2022년부터는 신세계프라퍼티의 임직원들이 자발적으로 참여하는 지역 아동청소년 대상 사내 봉사활동 ‘별꿈서포터즈’도 함께 운영하고 있다. 지역 아동청소년들이 스타필드에서의 즐겁고 행복한 경험을 통해 더 건강하게 성장할 수 있도록 아이들의 든든한 팬(fan)으로, 놀이 친구로, 선생님(별꿈쌤)으로 활동한다.
지난 6월 진행된 지역 아동 지원 ‘별꿈이랑 놀자’ 프로그램에는 임직원 총 110여명이, 이번 8월에 진행하는 ‘스타필드 플레이’는 임직원 총 150여명이 참여할 만큼 매회 참가자 수가 크게 늘고 있다. 참가자들은 아이들을 응원하는 마음으로 시작했다가 오히려 아이들의 밝은 모습과 순수한 모습에 힐링을 얻고 간다는 긍정적인 평이다.
이번 ‘스타필드 플레이’는 오는 8월 17일(목)까지 스타필드 하남·고양·안성과 스타필드 시티 부천·명지에서 24차례 진행된다. 지역 아이들 총 1,400여명이 방문할 예정으로 150여명의 임직원 ‘별꿈서포터즈’가 스타필드와 스타필드 시티에 방문한 아이들이 즐겁고 안전하게 하루를 보낼 수 있도록 길잡이 역할을 한다.
임직원뿐 아니라 ‘스몹 by 스포츠몬스터’, ‘챔피언1250x’ 등 스타필드의 인기 엔터테인먼트 매장도 아이들의 꿈과 희망을 성장시키고 즐거운 추억을 선물하자는 뜻에 동참해 적극적인 지원에 나선다.
스타필드 하남·고양·안성에 초청된 아이들은 국내 최초로 스포츠와 엔터테인먼트를 결합한 테마파크인 ‘스몹 by 스포츠몬스터’에서 짚라인, 번지점프, 고공 어드벤처 코스 등의 스릴 있는 액티비티를 즐긴다. 스타필드 시티 부천에서는 샤이닝 스타 클래스를, 스타필드 시티 명지에서는 어린이 실내 놀이터 ‘챔피언1250x’ 체험 활동을 준비했다. 점심식사 후에는 영화관에서 최신 인기 영화를 관람한다.
