신세계그룹이 16일(금) ‘스타필드 청라 비전선포식’을 열고 세계 최초로 돔구장(멀티스타디움)과 복합쇼핑몰을 결합한 ‘스타필드 청라’의 청사진을 발표했다.
인천광역시청에서 열린 이날 행사에는 정용진 신세계그룹 부회장, 유정복 인천시장, 김진용 인천경제자유구역청장, 임영록 신세계프라퍼티 대표이사 등이 참석했다.
이날 행사에서 신세계프라퍼티와 인천시는 성공적인 사업 추진을 위한 ‘스타필드 청라’의 사업진행 현황 및 비전을 공감하는 시간을 가졌다.
국내 최초, 최대 규모의 복합쇼핑몰 ‘스타필드’를 개발 운영 중인 신세계프라퍼티는 ‘스타필드 청라’를 차세대 스포츠·문화·엔터테인먼트 복합 공간으로 개발하여 여가문화의 새로운 패러다임을 제시할 것이라고 밝혔다.
신세계그룹은 세상에 존재하지 않던 공간과 콘텐츠로 최고의 고객 경험을 제공해 고객의 시간과 공간을 점유한다는 계획이다.
‘스타필드 청라’는 세계 최초로 스포츠 경기와 공연이 일년 내내 열리는 복합문화관람시설과 초대형 복합쇼핑몰이 결합된 멀티 엔터테인먼트 공간으로 인천 서구 청라동에 부지 16.5만㎡(5만평), 연면적 50만㎡(15만평), 지하 3층 지상 6층 규모로 2027년말 준공을 목표로 하고 있다.
먼저, 2만1천 석 규모의 최첨단 멀티스타디움에서는 야구를 비롯한 각종 스포츠 경기 대회와 다양한 문화·예술 전시, k-pop 가수 및 해외 유명 아티스트 공연이 일년 내내 펼쳐진다.
멀티스타디움 관람석뿐만 아니라 특화된 호텔 객실과 인피니티풀은 물론 스타필드내의 다양한 f&b와 다이닝바에서도 야구경기와 각종 엔터테인먼트를 즐길 수 있다. 이는 국내 야구 관람문화를 한 단계 업그레이드 하고 고객들에게 차원이 다른 새로운 경험을 제공할 것으로 기대된다.
‘스타필드 청라’에서는 쇼핑·문화·예술·레저·힐링 등 여가생활을 한 곳에서 원스톱으로 이용할 수 있다.
또한 350여개 이상의 다양한 브랜드를 갖춘 쇼핑시설, 각종 스포츠 시설, 아이들의 꿈을 키워줄 어린이 전용 도서관 ‘별마당 키즈’ 등의 여가 시설뿐만 아니라 지역 고객 니즈와 mz세대의 라이프 스타일에 맞춰 it기술을 활용한 문화 콘텐츠 등을 다양하게 선보일 예정이다.
'스타필드 청라'는 지역 경제 활성화에도 크게 기여할 것으로 보인다.
스타필드 청라가 오픈하면 연간 2천 5백만명 이상의 국내외 관광객이 방문할 것으로 기대된다.
이에 따른 생산유발효과 약 3조 6천억, 부가가치 유발효과 약 1조 4천억뿐만 아니라 지역민 우선채용을 통한 직간접 고용유발효과 3만명과 ‘스타필드 청라’ 현지법인 설립을 통한 지역 세수 확대 등이 예상된다.
이날 행사에 참여한 김진용 인천경제청장은 환영사를 통해 “스타필드 청라는 청라국제도시와 인천경제자유구역(ifes) 발전에 크게 기여할 것으로 기대된다. 앞으로 사업이 원활하게 추진될 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
유정복 인천시장은 “세계 초일류도시를 목표로 하는 인천시가 대한민국의 미래를 여는 교두보가 되고, 스타필드 청라 프로젝트를 통해 신세계가 인천에서 세계적인 기업으로 성장할 수 있기를 기대한다”며, “앞으로 인천시와 신세계가 지역발전을 위한 동반자로서 서로 협력해 나가기를 바란다”고 말했다.
이어서 정용진 신세계그룹 부회장은, “스타필드 청라를 통해 여가문화 패러다임을 완전히 바꿀 것”“이를 위해 스타필드 청라를 세계 최초·최고의 대한민국 랜드마크 시설로 조성할 것이다”고 밝혔다.
한편, ‘스타필드 청라’는 최근 멀티스타디움 설계 변경에 대한 경관상세계획 심의를 완료했다. 현재 진행 중인 지하 터파기 및 토목 공사와 지상층 건축 변경 인허가가 마무리되면, 지상층에 대한 본격적인 공사를 시작할 예정이다.

The company values its customer’s personal information most of all and always puts all-out efforts to protect it safely.
The Company complies with the relevant laws including PERSONAL INFORMATION PROTECTION ACT and the ACT ON THE PROMOTION OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK UTILIZATION AND INFORMATION PROTECTION, ETC. and has established and released the Policy on the Handling of Personal Information on its website accessible by its customers. Since the Policy on the Handling of Personal Information may be amended due to changes in governmental law and policy or in the corporate policy, it is recommended for its customers to frequently visit the Notice on the website.

Customers may ask for the settlement of a dispute or consultation to the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee, Personal Information Infringement Report Center of the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA), etc. on the remedy for the infringed rights. The Company does not collect the personal information of a child under the age of fourteen(14) who shall obtain the consent of his / her legal representative.
The Company does not transfer commercial type information without the customer's prior consent.
When sending commercial type information via email and others for the purpose of online marketing including the product guide information, the Company obtains prior consent from the customers on the sending of such information and takes the measures as below for each means, allowing the customers to recognize it easily.
Pursuant to the relevant laws, the criteria of the Company on the use or provision of the additional personal information without a customer’s consent is as follows:
Should there be information to be added, deleted and edited according to the government policies or the policies of the Company, the notification on such changes will be provided via the website at least seven(7) days before the revision.
This Policy on the Handling of Personal Information takes effect as of November 25, 2021, and the previous version will be replaced with the current version.
